Meet the Belles

  • Tara Stafford Allen

    The Blighty Belles founder and Multi Award Winning Vocalist, Tara has over 25 years in the industry and has performed all over the world and on the seas! Her vocal articulation is crystal clear and has a unique ability to hold and engage with an audience. Tara has a wealth of Television appearances and was also the vocal coach for the revival of ITVs hit show ‘Stars in their Eyes’

    Born and bred in rural Lincolnshire, Tara has always had a passion for the 1940s era. Her Paternal Grandmother served at Bletchley Park during World War II and her Grandfather was an Engineering Officer with the RAF.

  • Megan Tupholme

    Megan trained as a professional dancer at Bodywork Company International, graduating in 2014 with a distinction in Dance & Performing Arts. Her career saw her performing as a commercial dancer and model in London and working internationally for various companies and appearing in shows including Blue Skies, Body Electric, Equilibrium, Move It and London Fashion Week. Throughout her dancing career, Megan continued to gain experience as a choreographer and teaching dance, musical theatre and singing across the UK and Europe. After moving home to Lincolnshire, Megan now performs as a singer with the Blighty Belles and Abba Eyes as well as teaching Pilates and dance locally. Megan is very proud of her heritage, dedicating her character on stage to her great Grandmother Betty, who served as a land girl during WW2.

  • Madzia Stopka

    Magdas love for singing started when her family moved to small rural village just hour south from Krakow Poland, and joined local primary school. Magda was asked to sing a solo song in her first music class in a new school and she has never stopped singing since. At age of 16 she has joined a local wedding band and sang for 5 years until she has relocated to UK.

    Magda joined The Blighty Belles in 2022 and loves the sound of harmonies, which The Blighty Belles are famous for.

    With Magda’s Polish background, WWII was taught in schools at an early age and school trips to Auschwitz in Oswiecim were on every school agenda.

    It was hard to comprehend that such evil happened just 60 minutes away from her home, and even harder that her grandmothers sister, whom she met once, was one of the few Auschwitz Survivors, captured as a young woman and managed to escape. She lived for many years after till in a small village near by.

  • Emily Woodcock

    Emily trained as a professional dancer at Bodywork Company Dance Studios, Cambridge, where she graduated with a distinction in Musical Theatre & Performing arts. Travelling straight to London, Emily began acting and dancing her way through music videos as well as joining the London Caberet Club as a showgirl with 2-2 Live Entertainment. After a few years in London, Emily then went on to travel around India for 6 months, within the Bollywood TV & film industry, featuring in over 55 films and live performances whilst out there.

    Returning home, she fulfilled a childhood wish at Haven Entertainment in Devon before returning home to bring up her daughter.

    Emily is now a dance teacher in her home town, and singer with The Blighty Belles.

    Robyn is the youngest Belle and has undeniably inherited her mothers talent for the stage. Having grown up in the Belles family Robyn has become an accomplished performer and vintage vocalist

  • Victoria Stanton

    Victoria is an experienced and versatile vocalist who embodies and personifies the 1940s era completely. Bringing a rich tone to the Belles, her performances are full of wit, charm and energy.
